1 1/2 cup scalded milk
1/2 cup shortening
1/4 cup sugar
2 tbsp. salt
1 1/2 cup water
3 packages yeast
3 eggs
9 cups flour

Directions:
Directions:
Combine in bowl scalded milk, shortening, sugar and salt. Cool to lukewarm by adding water. Add yeast and eggs. Beat. Add 1/2 of flour & beat till smooth. Blend in rest of flour with wooden spoon or mixer dough hooks. Put in large container and chill at least two hours or overnight. Will keep several days in refrigerator.
