20 slices bread, dried or frozen
1 onion cut-up
1/2 cup chopped celery
1 lb. hamburg and 1 lb. fresh pork
2 tblsp. poultry seasoning
1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper
Water, chicken broth or turkey broth
1/4 cup wine if desired

Directions:

Grind up bread or cut into cubes.
Saute cut-up onion and celery in large pan until golden. Add hamburg & ground pork. Cook till well done. Mash with potato masher. Add poultry seasoning, salt, pepper. Add bread crumbs and enough water or broth to make right consistency for dressing. Add wine if desired, but not necessary. Mix well. Taste the dressing. If it needs more seasoning, add some. Stuff turkey. I cook my turkey in an oven bag. Follow directions on turkey wrapping or oven bag box for cooking time. I brush melted butter or olive oil and a little seasoning on turkey before cooking.
