3 eggs
3 tablespoons sugar
a little nutmeg, salt and milk
mix and pour into crust made from
1 cup flour, 1 tablespoon lard (vegetable shortening)
little salt and water.

bake in a quick oven 375 to 400 till set and a little golden on top.

This recipe comes from a cookbook that was handwritten by Ella Oberg who was Adeline Ekman's mother. There were few directions so I have added only what common sense tells me but if you have a better sense as to how it should be done, by all means use it.
