1 cup water
4 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp salt
pinch of pepper
1/4 cup soy sauce
1 tsp vinegar
1 small clove garlic
pork roast - approx 2-3 pounds

Directions:
Directions:
Heat water over medium heat and stir in sugars until dissolved. Remove from heat, add salt, pepper, soy sauce, vinegar, and garlic. Blend well. Put roast into medium mixing bowl and pour marinade over top. Cover and refrigerate overnight. In the morning turn the roast over and put back in fridge until ready to roast for dinner. Roast at 325º until meat reaches internal temperature of 170º - approx. 40 minutes per pound.

The marinade makes a delicious, juicy roast. Use the leftover pork to make egg foo young and fried rice.
