3/4 c. shortening or butter
3/4 c. peanut butter
2 1/4 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla
3 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
3/4 tsp. salt
3 tsp. baking powder
1 c. milk
Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the sugar, butter or shortening, and p. butter. Add eggs, one at a time and stir in vanilla. In another bowl, sift dry ingreds. Mix the two mixtures together and add milk slowly. Bake at 350º for 50 mins.
Make frosting:
6 T. butter
1 c. brown sugar
2/3 c. peanut butter
1/4 c. milk
2/3 c. peanuts, chopped
Ice cake and then place under broiler for 3-4 mins. to melt or brown the top.
