4-5 lb Beef roast
2 bay leaves
4-5 slices of onion (optional)
Salt and pepper to taste

Directions:
Directions:
In dutch oven brown roast on both sides, add bay leaves, salt and pepper. Put in 350º oven and bake for about 2 hours, then add as many cut up carrots & potatoes and celery as you want. Finish cooking until meat and veggies are done.

In memory of Bill Hullermann, he called it Grandma & Grandpa meat because if I was helping outside on the farm and my Mom and Dad were coming for supper, this is usually what we had along with a salad and whatever Dianne & LouAnn made for desert.
