1 1/4 cup flour
1/2 tsp. Soda
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup white sugar
3/4 cup quick oats
1/2 cup chocolate chips or M&M’s
1/2 cup nut meats
Directions:
Directions:
Funnel into 1 quart jars in the order given. Use the back of a tables spoon to pack down the brown sugar and tap the jar on the counter to level out the layers and pack them better. Make the following tag to attach with a ribbon or raffia to the jar:
To Bake:
Add 3/4 cup melted butter, 1 egg and 1 tsp. Vanilla. Mix well with the ingredients in the jar in a large mixing bowl. Drop by spoonfuls on a baking sheet and bake 8-10 minutes in a preheated 350 oven. Makes approximately 3 dozen cookies.
