2 1/2 lb lean ground pork
1 large onion, chopped
1 tsp salt
4 potatoes, peeled and cubed
2 (15 ounce) packages refrigerated pie crusts (Memere would NEVER use store bought!!)

Directions:
Directions:
1. In a large frying pan, mix together and brown the ground pork, allspice, onion, salt.
2. Peel; dice and then place the potatoes into a separate pan and fill with enough water to cover. Bring to a boil and cook until tender. Drain and put potatoes in with cooked pork; mash potatoes and meat mixture until evenly blended.
3. Preheat the oven to 375°. Line two 9 inch pie plates with bottom crusts. Spoon equal amounts of the pork filling into each crust. Cover with top crusts and flute the edges to seal. Brush on an egg wash.
4. Bake for 45 minutes, or until crust is golden brown.
