1/2 c. margarine
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. corn syrup
2 eggs

1 c. smooth applesauce
1 c. raisins
1 c. mixed dried or candied fruits
2 1/4 c. AP flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. nutmeg
1/4 tsp. ground cloves

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the first four ingreds. in a bowl. Add applesauce, raisins, and fruits. In another bowl, sift dry ingreds. together. Mix two mixtures. Pour into 9" x 5" x 3" loaf pan
Bake at 350º for 1 1/4 hours. Can add liqueur, as wanted, to top once it is cooked and cooled.

Can use nuts, chopped and/or a jar of cherries, drained and chopped - in place of dried fruits.
