1 cup margarine or butter
1 1/2 cups sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 3/4 cups flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 teaspoon cream of tartar
1/2 teaspoon salt

Directions:
Directions:
Mix first three ingredients thoroughly, then stir in remaining ingredients.
Chill thoroughly. Shape into balls the size of a walnut. Roll in a mixture of 2 tablespoons sugar and 2 teaspoons of cinnamon. Place about 2 inches apart onto an ungreased cookie sheet. Bake until lightly browned, but still soft in a 400º oven 8 to 10 minutes.
