1 c. butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. white sugar
2 eggs, slightly beaten
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla or coconut flavoring
2 1/2 c. AP flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
3 c. oatmeal
1 c. raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the buttter, sugars, eggs and vanilla, Drop raisins into this mixture and let sit while you work on dry mixture. Mix dry ingred. in another bowl. Combine the two mixtures. Fold in the oatmeal. Use 3 mins. oatmeal, long cooking, etc. but do not use instant oatmeal. Drop by teaspoonful on cookie sheets. Cook at 350º for 10 mins.
