1 1/4 c. soda cracker crumbs
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. butter
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 lemons juice & rind or 6 T. lemon juice
1 c. white sugar
4 T. butter
2 eggs

Directions:
Directions:
Mix together crumbs, br. sugar, butter, flour, baking powder. Measure out and save 1 c. crumb mixture. Place the rest of the mixture in a pan 9x9. Press down to form a crust for the bottom of squares. In a small saucepan, measure the lemons, sugar, butter, and slightly beaten eggs. Cook over low heat until mixture thickens slightly. Pour over crumb mixture and top with the reserved crumbs. Bake at 350º. Cool before cutting and removing from pan.
