1/3 c. sugar
2 tsp. cornstarch
2 T. dry mustard
1 egg, slightly beaten
1 c. light cream
2 T white vinegar

Directions:
Directions:
In the top of a double boiler combine sugar, cornstarch, mustard and egg until well blended. Gradually stir in cream. Place over boiling water and cook, stirring constantly until mixture is thickened. Remove mixture from heat and stir in the vinegar. Chill and serve with fish, ham, etc. Keep in the refrigerator. Makes about 1 1/4 cups of sauce.
