1 package lil smokies beef sausages
1 lb thinly sliced bacon
brown sugar

Cut bacon in half, wrap around sausage and secure with a toothpick. Place them in a casserole dish, line it with foil for a much easier cleanup. Cover generously with brown sugar and let it sit overnight. Bake at 350 degrees F for 60 minutes. With the way people go through these, I will warn that one package will not be nearly enough. I usually at least double this, or quadruple it for a MOPS meeting or Church event.
