1 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 c. brown sugar
2 eggs, beaten
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. oatmeal
2 c. Wheaties
1 c. coconut
2 or 3 T. milk

Directions:

Cream together the shortening, sugars and eggs. Sift the dry ingredients and add to the first then add the vanilla. Mix in the oatmeal, Wheaties and coconut. Drop by teaspoons on a greased cookie sheet. Bake 10 to 15 minutes in a 375º oven.
