1 3/4 c. flour
1 tbsp. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
2 tsp. baking soda
3 eggs, separated (into yolks and whites)
4 tbsp. melted butter
1 1/2 c. milk

Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites until stiff peaks form. Set aside. Place egg yolks in bowl, add milk and beat until foamy. In a medium mixing bowl, blend flour, sugar, salt and baking powder with a fork. Then add dry mixture to the egg yolks, a little at a time, while continuing to beat. Add egg whites to the egg yolk mixture and stir gently, leaving some lumps. Add the butter. Pour a small amount into heated waffle iron to fill the cavities.
