1/2 c. warm water
1 tbsp. dry yeast

1/2 c. sugar
1 c. milk
2 tbsp. oleo

3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 c. mashed potatoes

4 c. flour
1 1/2 c. raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Mix warm water and yeast together. Dissolve and set aside. In a saucepan melt together sugar, milk and oleo. Set aside and cool. Mix remaining ingredients together, adding dissolved yeast mix and melted oleo mix. To that, add 3 c. flour, raisins and one more cup flour. Set dough in a bowl of warm water and let rise until doubled. Spoon out dough and fry until golden brown.
