Directions:
Disolve yeast in water. Cream sugar, salt, eggs and shortening. Add cooled milk and yeast.
Stir in flour until dough is not sticky but not too stiff. Knead on floured board. Place in greased bowl. Cover and let rise until double in bulk. Shape into rolls and let rise again. Bake at 400º about 20 minutes. Brush tops with melted butter.

Personal Notes:
Personal Notes:
This can be used for cinnamon rolls too. Roll dough after allowing to raise first time. Spread with butter, brown sugar and cinnamon. (optional raisins or nuts) Roll and slice. Place in pan and allow to raise again.
Can make Sticky buns by mixing 2/3 cup brown sugar, 1/2 cup Karo syrup and 1/4 cup margarine. Spread over bottom of pan before adding cinnimon rolls.
I helped Gramma Drabert many holidays and bake sales making rolls and sticky buns. She shaped the rolls so easily but mine never looked as good.
