1 1/2 oz yeast
3 1/2- 4 c flour
1 c milk
1 egg
3 oz (6 Tbs) sugar
3/4 tsp salt
1 Tbs cardamon
1/4 lb (1 stick) butter
1/2 c citron
1 c raisins
Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast slowly in the warmed up milk. In a mixing bowl mix the rest of the ingredients together for 10-15 mins.
Fold in the citron and the raisins.
Let rise in bowl until double in size.
Shape into small rounds & let rise till double again. Baste with 1 beaten egg. Bake for 30 mins at 350º F.
