One cup softened butter; 1/4 cup granulated sugar or 3/4 cup powdered sugar; 1 1/2 cups white flour; and 1 cup rice flour. Cream butter and sugar together with your hands. That's important for the texture. Slowly add flour and pat mixture into a 7-by-11 pan, important for the right thickness. Lightly prick surface. Bake at 325 degrees for 25 minutes or until light brown."
