16 cabbage leaves
1/3 c rice, uncooked
2/3 c water
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp basil, crushed
1/4 c onion, minced
1/4 tsp thyme, crushed
1/4 c evaporated milk
1 lb ground beef
1/8 tsp pepper
3/4 tsp salt
1 tbsp butter
1 1/2 c tomato soup, undiluted

Directions:
Directions:
Choose large well shaped leaves of cabbage. Steam for 5 minutes over hot water until slightly tender and flexible. Cook rice in boiling salted water. Combine with seasonings, milk and meat. Place 1/4 c of the mixture in center of cabbage leaves (2). Roll them and tuck the edges. Place the stuffed leaves in a baking dish. Brush tops with melted butter. Bake until nicely browned on top. Heat tomato soup. Pour off the drippings on cabbabe rolls and combine with soup. Ladle mixture over the rolls and serve.
