1 cup butter
1 cup swugar
1 egg
¼ tsp salt
2 tsp vanilla
2-2/3 cup flour

Directions:
Mix well. Chill slightly. Drop by tsp full onto lightly buttered cookie sheet. Flatten with sugared glass (dip bottom of glass in granulated sugar). Bake 375 degrees fir 7-10 minutes.
