1 pkg. dry yeast
1/4 C. warm water
1 C. creamed cottage cheese, heated to lukewarm
1 tsp. dill seed
1 T. instant dry onion
1 T. butter (melted in with the cottage cheese)
1 tsp. salt
1 T. sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 egg, beaten
2 1/4 to 2 1/2 C. white flour

Directions:
Directions:
Dissolve yeast in warm water. In a mixing bowl, combine heated butter and cottage cheese, sugar, onion, dill seed, salt, egg, soda; then stir in yeast and water. Gradually add flour to form a stiff dough.
Knead for 10 minutes, place in a greased round casserole, turning once to coat top and bottom. Place in a warm spot and sllow to double in size, about an hour. Punch down. Allow to double again.
Bake 40 to 60 minutes in a 350 degree oven. Bake to golden brown.
Spread butter on top of warm loaf and sprinkle with salt-Serve warm
