2 c sugar
2 sticks butter
5 egg yolks
2 c flour
1 tsp soda dissolved in 1 c buttermilk
1 c angel flake coconut
1/2 tsp vanilla

Icing:
8 oz cream cheese
1 stick margarine
1 box powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 c chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter. Add egg yolks one at a time. Add flour, soda, coconut, and vanilla. Fold in 5 beaten egg whites. Bake in 3 layers or 2 large layers at 350º for 25 minutes.
