2 tsp baking powder
2 tsp baking soda
1 tsp allspice
4 cups flour
12 oz chopped nuts (I prefer walnuts)
2 cups sugar
1/2 cup oil
4 eggs
1/2 cup honey
2 cups strong coffee

Directions:
Directions:
Sift baking powder, baking soda, allspice, flour. Stir in nuts.

In mixing bowl combine sugar and oil. Beat well. Add eggs and honey. Beat well. Add sifted dry ingredients and coffee, alternating dry with liquid and ending with dry. Mix well.

Pour into waxed paper lined 11 x 7 x 2 inches pan. Bake at 350º for 40 to 45 minutes.

DO NOT substitute cinnamon for allspice. Cinnamon does not belong in this recipe and gives the cake a disgusting flavor.
