1- 3 oz pkg Top Ramen, chicken flavor
4 cups shredded cabbage
4 green onions, sliced
2 tbsp sesame seed (toasted)
3 tbsp rice or tarragon vinegar
2 tbsp sugar
2 tbsp salad oil
1/2 tsp ground white pepper
1/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup slivered almonds, toasted

Directions:
Directions:
Crush noodles slightly; place in colander. Pour boiling water over noodles to soften slightly. Drain well. In large bowl combine noodles, cabbage, onions, and sesame seed.
Dressing: in screwtop jar combine seasoning packet from noodles, vinegar, sugar, oil, pepper, and salt, Shake well. Pour over salad and toss. Cover and chill several hours or overnight. Before serving toss in toasted almonds.

Here is a recipe that everyone seems to love. I got it from a friend 25 years ago but it is still a family favorite. I usually double the salad ingredients and quadruple the dressing ingredients (except still use 2 packets of seasoning).
