1 C granulated sugar
1 C powdered sugar
1 C butter
1 C vegetable oil
4 1/2 C flour
1 t cream of tartar
1 t salt
1 t soda
1 T vanilla
1 t almond extract

Directions:
Directions:
Cream together the 2 sugars, butter. Beat in eggs, oil, flavoring. Combine dry ingredients. Gradually add to mixture. Refrigerate overnight (this is a soft dough). Form dough into small balls and place on greased cookiesheet. Dip bottom of a glass in granulated sugar and use to flatten cookies. Sprinkle with additional sugar. Bake in preheated 350º oven for 8-10 minutes.
