5 pounds flour
6 tablespoons sugar
6 egg yolks
3 1/2 - 4 cups milk scalded and cooled to warm
1 pound butter melted
1 stick margarine melted
1/2 cup warm water
1 tablespoon sugar
3 packages dry yeast

Directions:
Directions:
Mix warm water, 1 T sugar and yeast together in medium bowl. Pl;ace flour in large pan or bowl. Make a well, add sugar, salt and egg yolks. Gradually add warm milk, butter, Margery and
yeast mixture. Knead well 15 to 20 minutes. Dough is to be soft. Add more warm milk if needed. Let raise until double. Takes about 1 1/2 - 2 hours. Punch down and then make small balls a little bit bigger then a golf ball. Place on a floured cloth and let raise again until doubled. Take 1 ball of dough and enclose with cabbage or potato filling. Use about a large heaping tablespoon. Then press down a little to flatten. Place on cookie sheet. Prick top with fork, then brush top with beaten egg. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 to 20 minutes

Potato Filling: 15 - 20 medium potatoes cooked and mashed. Add 1/2 pound grated American cheese, some butter salt and pepper to taste.

Cabbage Filling: Chop 3 medium heads of cabbage fairly fine. Fry in margarine with some chopped onion until tender. Add salt and pepper to taste.
