1/2 cup onions - chopped
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
14 ounces ketchup
1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes
3/4 cup pickle relish
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon vinegar
1/4 teaspoon salt

Fry onion in oil till soft. Stir in next 6 ingredients. Bring to a simmer. Simmer till heated through.
