1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 cup shortening
2 eggs
4 cups sifted flour
2 teaspoons baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
4 cups grape pulp and skins
1 cup chopped nuts

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and shortening till light and fluffy. Add eggs, beat well. Sift dry ingredients. Add alternately with grapes. Stir in nuts.
To prepare grapes, squeeze pulp into saucepan. Cook pulp 5 minutes. Put through food mill or sieve to remove seeds. Coarsely chop skins in food processor. Mix with pulp.
Put in 2 greased loaf pans. Bake at 350 degrees for 50 - 60 minutes.
