Ingredients:
1 pound navy beans
1/2 pound bacon fried and crumbles
1/4 pound butter
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup catsup
10 oz can tomato sauce
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard

Directions:
Directions:
Wash beans. Cover with 3 cups water and soak overnight. Add 2 cups water the next day and boil covered about 1 hour. Drain. Mix beans with remaining ingredients in a 2 quart casserole. Bake in 325 degree oven for 5 hours. Remove lid the last hour. If beans become too dry, add additional tomato sauce. This dish also freezes well.

Hint: To save time you can use a big jar of the northern or navy beans that are all ready cooked.
