1 gal. hamburger dill slices
5 lb. sugar
1 small bottle Tobasco sauce
minced garlic ( 1 small bottle fresh or 1/2 of a 2 1/2 jar of dried.)

Directions:
Directions:
Drain and discard juice from pickles. Save a little juice of the first layer. Remove pickles from jar.
In separate container, mix sugar, Tobasco and garlic. Layer pickles, then sugar mixtures back into the gallon jar. (Three or four layers) Invert jar daily for 5 days. Put in sterilized pint jars with sealing lids. Make great teacher gifts or Christmas gifts for neighbors.
