No-Fail Pie Crust Recipe

Ingredients:  
makes 3 crusts

Mix together:
3 c flour
1 tsp salt
1 Tbsp sugar
Add to flour mixture:
3/4c shortening
1/4c butter
in liquid measuring cup, put:
2 T milk
2 T oil
1 tsp vinegar
1 egg white, beaten
with the above ingredients in the measuring cup, fill it with cold water to 1/2 cup. Mix together lightly and roll pie crusts.

~Regular Pie Filling Pies: Bake at 375º for 10 min. Reduce heat to 350º and bake for 25-35 minutes.
~Custard pies: pre-bake pie crust for 5 min at 375º before baking as Regular Pie.
~Only prick bottom of crust before baking IF you are only baking the crust and not the filling.
~Apple Pie takes a bit longer
