1 c. butter
1 c. sugar
1 Tbsp. light Karo syrup
6 oz. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Line a cookie sheet with wax paper. In a sauce pan, combine the butter, sugar and syrup. Stir constantly until candy thermometer reaches 300 degrees. Pour onto cookie sheet and immediately top with chocolate chips. Smooth the chocolate chips with a spatula until covered. Sprinkle with almonds. Refrigerate 3 hours.
