3/4 stick unsalted butter
1 1/4 c. brown sugar
2 t. vanilla
1/2 t. grated orange zest
1/4 t. salt
3/4 c. agave nectar
3 lg. eggs
2 c. pecan halves

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350º. with baking sheet on middle rack.
Crust into 9 in. pie pan and trim edge. Prick bottom with fork. Chill until firm, at least 30 min or freeze 15 min.
Melt butter in small heavy saucepan over med. heat. Add brown sugar, whisk until smooth. Remove from heat and whisk in vanilla, zest, salt, agave. Lightly beat eggs then whisk in butter and brown sugar mixture.
Put pecans in pie shell and pour batter evenly over them.
Bake 50-60 min or until set.
Let cool 1 hour before slicing.
