4 envelopes unflavored gelatin
1 c cold water
1 1/2 c water
3 c sugar
1/2 tsp salt

Food coloring and flavorings of your choice
Directions:
Directions:
Combine gelatin and 1 cup cold water and let stand. In a saucepan combine and bring to a bowl 1 1/2 cups water, sugar and salt. Remove from heat and add gelatin mixture, stir until dissolved. Add coloring and flavor. Pour into a 9x9 square pan and let stand at room temperature until set. Cut into cubes and roll in finely granulated or powder sugar.
