1 envelope unflavored gelatin
1/3 c cold water
1/2 c sugar
2/3 c light Karo syrup
1 tsp vanilla

Corn flakes
Coconut
Powdered sugar
Cocoa

Directions:
Directions:
In top of double boiler, soften gelatin in water. Place over low heat and stir until dissolved. Add sugar and stir until dissolved and remove from heat. Pour Karo syrup into a large bowl. With electric mixer beat syrup, add vanilla and slowly pour in gelatin mixture. Beat on highest speed until mixture becomes thick and of soft marshmallow consistency, about 15 minutes. Dust the bottom of a 7x10" pan with crushed corn flakes, coconut, powdered sugar, or cocoa and pour marshmallows over the top. Let stand at room temperature until set, cut into squares and roll in remaining cereal, coconut, cocoa or sugar. You will need about 3 cups of one of these ingredients to cover tops and bottoms of marshmallows.
