3/4 c. sugar
1/2 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. softened margarine or butter
1/2 c. sour cream
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour - plain
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 c. chopped fresh cranberries
1/2 c. chopped walnuts

Directions:
Directions:
In a large mixing bowl combine sugars, butter, sour cream, vanilla and eggs. Mix well. Add flour, baking soda and baking powder. Gently stir in cranberries and nuts. Do not over mix. Drop by rounded teaspoonful's 2" apart on lightly greased baking sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 11-13 minutes. Let cool then frost with icing. Makes about 4 dozen cookies.
ICING: 2 c. powdered sugar, 2 T. melted margarine or butter, 1 tsp. grated orange peel, and 2 to 3 T. orange juice. Spread over cooked cookies.
