1 lb steak cut in cubes
flour
salt
pepper
1 onion diced
4 stalks celery sliced
4 carrots peeled and sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Dredge the beef in flour and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Brown in frying pan with small amount of oil. When completely browned on all sides, transfer to large Dutch oven. Cover with water and simmer until meat is fork tender. Add veggies and more water to cover veggies. Gently simmer until veggies are tender. Thicken gravy with slurry of cornstarch and cold water. Serve over mashed potatoes.
