1-2 Loaves Bread (depends on size of your bird)
1 can Chicken broth
Water
1-2 Stalks Celery
1 medium Onion
Egg
Salt & Pepper to taste
Bell's Poultry Seasoning (again to your taste)
Real Butter (not margarine)

Directions:
You need to dry bread either by leaving out or putting in warm oven. After bread is dry,break up in a large bowl and add broth and let soak in for a few minutes. While bread is soaking, I chop onions and celery and put in frying pan with at least a stick of butter. Saute until they are clear. When this is done, I go back to the bread, add egg, and start to mix until the bread is all mushed up. You may need to add more water as you don't want it too dry. It usually is kind of pastey. Then add your seasoning, salt, pepper and poultry seasoning. It does take quite a bit of the seasoning to make it taste good, at least 1-2 tblsps. You have to add this to your own liking. I do it by smelling it. Add onions and celery and mix again. Ready to be stuffed.

I usually make this the night before, like MaMa did. Keep it in a closed container. That way the seasonings go all through it. This stuffing is better inside the bird, not cooked separately. This was always a favorite for the whole family, I know my family loves it. Every time I make it, I think of MaMa.
