1 C. butter
1 ½ C. brown sugar, packed
2 eggs, well beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
2 ½ C. flour
Pinch of salt
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. soda
1 C. whole pecan halves
1 C. whole filberts
1 C. whole walnut halves
4 slices candied pineapple, cut up small
1 lb. red cherries, halved
1 lb dates, coarsely chopped

Directions:
Directions:
Cream butter & sugar until fluffy. Add beaten eggs and vanilla and mix well. Combine dry ingredients; add fruit & nuts to dry ingredients and coat well. Mix creamed mixure and flour mixture together. Stir gently until well mixed. Drop by teaspoonfuls onto cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 8 to 10 minutes.
