Flour, 1 c., sifted
Baking Powder, 2 TSR
Salt, 1/2 TSR
Butter
Shortening, 1/4 c.
Sugar, 1 c.
Milk, 1 c.
Peaches, 1 can, untrained

Directions:
Directions:
Sift flour, baking powder and salt together. Cream 1/3 cup butter, shortening and sugar. Stir in milk. Pour batter into 10x8x2 inch baking dish. Pour peaches carefully over batter; dot with butter. Bake at 400º for 30 minutes. Increase oven temperature to 450º, bake until top is browned.
