1 1/2 lbs Okra, fresh
4 - 5 slices Bacon
1 Onion, medium and chopped
1 tsp salt
3 - 4 Tomatoes, medium, ripe, peeled and chopped
Creole seasoning to taste

Directions:
Directions:
Wash okra, pat dry, and slice into 1-inch pieces.
In a large skillet, fry bacon until crisp. Remove bacon, drain, and set aside.
Add okra, onion, and salt to bacon drippings. Cook for 10 minutes over medium-high heat. Add tomatoes and Creole seasoning and stir well.
Reduce heat and simmer for about 45 minutes, stirring often. Serve topped with crumbled bacon.
