2 c. sugar
3/4 c. cocoa
1/2 c. oil
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla
2-1/2 c. flour
2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
Powdered sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Mix sugar, cocoa, and oil. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Add flour, baking powder and salt. Refrigerate until firm enough to form into balls. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls into powdered sugar. Form into balls about 1 inch in size. Roll again in powdered sugar. Place 2 inches apart on a lightly greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350º for about 8 minutes for delicious chewy brownie-like centers. Makes about 6 dozen.

Also known at our house as "Santa Cookies" because Santa loved these cookies. These are the ones left out for Santa on Christmas Eve as he makes his deliveries.
