2 1/2 c. plus 1/2 c. crushed chocolate cream sandwich cookies divided
2 tbsp butter or margarine softened
24 oz. cream cheese softened
1 c. plus 1/2 c.sugar divided
3 eggs 1 c. whipping cream
2 tsp vanilla 1 c. sour cream

Mix 21/2 c. cookie crumbs and 2 tbsp butter in small bowl with fork. Press into a 10 inch spring bottom and sides, freeze for about 15 minuets
Meanwhile beat cream cheese and 1 c. sugar in a large bowl until fluffy, about 2 minuets. Beat in eggs 1 at a time Add whipping cream and vanilla , mix well. Pour into crust.
Place cheesecake on top rack of oven. Fill an 8x8 inch pan with water and place on lower rack. Bake cake until center is firm about 50 minuets remove cake.
Mix sour cream and remaining sugar. Stir until sugar is dissolved. Spread over cake, return to oven for 10 more minuets about, until sour cream is set. Sprinkle remaining crumbs on top.
