1 cup water
2 tbsp. oil
1/3 cup brown sugar
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp caraway seed, optional
1 cup rye flour
1 1/2 cup bread flour
1 1/2 tsp active dry bread machine yeast

Directions:
Directions:
Place ingredients in bread machine pan in order listed. Prepare on dough cycle. Remove dough to lightly floured surface; knead lightly. Shape into a loaf and place in greased 8x4x3-inch loaf pan or in a round shape on a lightly greased baking sheet or a 9-inch round cake pan. Brush surface with milk or cream. Make 2 or 3 slashes on top of round loaf. Cover and let rise 50 to 60 minutes. Bake in 350ºoven about 35 minutes or until done. Makes 1 loaf.

Nutrients per slice: 100 calories, 2 g protein, 19 g carbohydrate, 1 g fiber, 0 mg cholesterol, 147 mg sodium.
