1/2 cup butter, melted
1 egg
1 cup sugar
1 3.4 cup flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. peppermint extract
2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
1/4 bar paraffin

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter, egg and sugar together. Combine flour and baking soda, add to butter mixture. Stir in peppermint extract.

Drop by teaspoonfuls onto a greased baking sheet. Bake in a preheated 350º oven for 10-12 minutes. Remove from baking sheets and cool on wire racks.

In a double boiled over hot (not boiling) water, melt chips and parafin. Drop cookies into chocolate to coat. Lift out with fork and place on wire racks to harden.

Yields about 3 dozen cookies.
