1 c. mayonnaise
1 Tbsp. relish (you can use sweet, but we prefer dill)
1 Tbsp. minced onion
2 Tbsp. lemon juice
Salt and pepper to taste

Mix ingredients in a small bowl and refrigerate for at least an hour. It can be kept in the fridge for up to 3 days.

I never think to put tarter sauce on my grocery list, so this is an easy solution. I use the dried minced onion and if it sits in the fridge for an hour, those rehydrate so they aren't crunchy.
