1 lb Butter
2 Cups Brown Sugar
1/2 tsp. Baking Soda
4 tsp. Cinnamon (yes 4)
1 Cup Sour Cream
1/2 tsp. Nutmeg
1/2 tsp. Cloves
4 1/2 Cups Flour
1 Cup Sliced Almonds

Directions:
Directions:
In large mixing bowl combine butter and sugar. Add next 5 ingredients and mix well. Slowly mix in flour and almonds. Form dough into a ball and score into 4 equal parts. Roll each part into a log shape. Wrap in plastic wrap and freeze for 6 hours or overnight. Slice cookie rolls 1/6" thick, place on cookie sheet and bake at 350º for 10 minutes.
