3 sticks butter, softened
3 cups sugar
5 eggs (beaten with fork)
3 cups Swan's Dawn cake flour
3 T lemon or pineapple flavor
3/4 cup 7Up soda

Directions:
Directions:
Soften butter, mix with sugar, add eggs. Add 1 cup of flour at a time, mixing well each time. After last cup of flour is mixed, add flavor and mix well. Add 7 Up, mixing well. Pour into greased and floured regular pound cake pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour (do not overbake). Remove from oven and let cool 10-15 minutes.
